and I thought my jokes were bad

ba da ba ba ba, I'm lovin' it~

the Breaking Dawn midnight release party last night was AMAZING. first, at 7:00, I went to my friend's house. I'm going to call her Star (because that's her nickname). we hung out and waited for friend #2 (known as C), then we all put on our dresses and started with hair. Star did C's hair first. C has a tendency to... complain a lot, so that took a looooong time. then, finally, she was content and Star did my hair. she pretty much just straightened it and put a headband in, but it looked awesome.
then we did makeup. makeup was sooo fun. she did mine first. she started with foundation, making my face look even, and then she did my eyes. she put a bunch of varying shades of purple all over my eyelid and stuff, then I put on black eyeliner. she put sparkles all around my eyes and added some gold eyeshadow. then she took a bunch of different colours of eyeliner and drew this awesome design on one side of my face. (the other side was covered by my bangs.) it looked so awesome. anyway, then we put on the finishing touches, I stuck a New Moon tattoo on my hand, and we left at a little before 9:00.

we were late, but that's okay. when we got out of the car, however, we saw nobody else dressed up. it was really embarassing. we hung outside for a while, looking at these awesome posters that said, "Do I dazzle you?" "Frequently." and then we finally went inside. Star's mother pointed out that there were people who had dressed up much more than us, so it was awesome. we just totally felt like everybody was friends, because we were all waiting for the same thing. we just kinda stood around for a while, some lady gave us these awesome bags with buttons and stuff in them, and then they started the activities. we just sat in Starbucks; we didn't bother taking part in the stuff. it was still fun, though, because we met my friend (known as Stripes) while we were there. so Star, C, Stripes, and I just talked for a while.

then we got in line to wait. it took a long time, but you should have heard the enormous, collective fangirl scream that spread across the whole store when they wheeled out the boxes of books. people just continued screaming, even after the book was given out.

since I got mine for cheaper (preordered it), I won't get it until tuesday-friday. either way, I had my hand on Star's book the whole time we drove home until Star's mother dropped me off. it was so awesome. I got to read the first page. *is so excited* :DDDDD SQUEE.

that's all for now, folks.
