harvey, harvey, harvey dent~

is he gaaaaaay... or european?

so. today has been rather uneventful. this morning I had piano lessons - fun, right? yeah. right. I have a piano exam in about two weeks and I know pretty much NONE of my scales. yeah. about 46 scales to learn in two weeks... piece of cake. right? right?
and to make matters even better, my piano lesson this morning did not last one hour, as it's supposed to! it lasted two hours! first, the girl before me took an extra ten minutes. that's okay. I don't mind that. then my mother, who had not spoken to my teacher for a long time, started talking about our freakin' home renovations. then my teacher started talking about HER home renovations.
fifty minutes later, my mother finally says that she should get going! oh, wonderful, mother! so glad you could let me get to my frigging piano lesson! so we start playing, and it lasts an hour, as it's supposed to. I'm doing pretty well, I guess. I should practice more. I'm a procrastinator. :/

then I went out shopping with my dad. we bought this thing for our bathroom, a big metal fish, which looks awesome. my mother doesn't like it, but she doesn't know a whole lot about designing a room. her idea of designing a room is either 'put anything you like in the room, regardless of how it all looks together' or 'make EVERYTHING IN THE ROOM the same colour'. yeah. we also got cinnamon sticks from Cinabon. yummmm. oh, and I tried "mineral water". scam, right? wrong! it's delicious. it's so much lighter and more fresh than normal water. plus, it has added calcium and stuff. bonus.

I got my old Quest for Glory anthology out again yesterday. they're PC games - there's four of them and you have to play them in order. they're so fun! it was a pain to try to get them working on Vista (because they're old DOS games from the early 90's), but I managed it... eventually. after hours of freaking torture. anyway, it's totally worth it - I've already beat the first game. now I just have to figure out how to import my saved game from the first one into the second one. normally you'd use a floppy disk, but my new computer doesn't have a floppy drive. heck, half of you people reading probably don't even know what a floppy disk is!
(FYI: they're not actually floppy.)

my mom bought a Michael Buble CD. it's so hot. :D the best song is "It Had Better Be Tonight". he sings in Italian. ;D well, I think that's all I got for now. I think I had more, but blogger is stupid and erased it. :/

signing out. signing off. whatever. XD "MEGLIO STASERA!"
